The goal of the techSTART is to help build and grow small tech companies in Central Oregon. techSTART’s model is to lightly incubate small companies by providing start-up, strategic and operational resources over the course of a calendar year in the TechSpace Bend facilities. Services will be provided by techSTART Partners and Sponsors through in-kind donations and sponsorships. The Tech Alliance, TechSpace Bend, nor partners or sponsors, retain an equity interest in the selected company.

Sources of Funding for the techSTART
techSTART will be funded through sponsorships and in-kind donations of time and services.
- Sponsorships
- A limited number of sponsorships will be awarded to up to ten qualifying companies – support levels have yet to be determined.
- In Kind Donations
- The techSTART will accept select subject matter experts in each services category to support the selected company
Administration and Operations of techSTART
Community Program Director (interim techSTART Director) will oversee general day to day operations.
